for examples:

- we always try to avoid danger

- Fasha only just avoided an accident

- enemies avoid one another

to prevent - stop from happening

for examples: 

- the rain prevented the game

- who can prevent Afiq from going there?

- what prevented you from going to Labis?

for example:
